About Cats Eye Pottery
My name is Jenny Hord and I am the potter at Cats Eye Pottery. My designs are inspired by the beautiful nature and farms around me here in West Brookfield Vermont. I have run a small studio located at my farm for almost 10 years and currently sell online and a few local avenues throughout the year. My pottery is always available for local pickup by appointment.
Most of my work is created by hand building, a technique using rolling pins and hand shaping onto handmade wooden molds to prepare for designing. I also create wheel thrown drinkware using similar designs. I use earth tone glazes to compliment my rustic designs, and each glaze is the safest on the market. All my pottery is fired to 2600 degrees, microwave and dishwasher safe, and can be heated in any standard oven. All pieces are incredibly durable and will last decades, my personal sets have survived my three boys nicely.
